I used these to weld 1/16 inch steel sheet to repair a hole in a vehicle rocker panel. The rods welded beautifully at 45 amps and left very nice welds. I would definitely buy these again.

Well packaged to keep the rods in good condition to weld. Package also closes tightly for future use. Performance was very good on light guage material, with a clean weld.

Nice..flows like butter, every rod so far strikes easy.Bought it to do some exhaust work, did fine for that running about 50 amps AC.Used it today for a bit thicker metal, patching up body mounts on a truck..worked fine for that at 80 amps.Good rods, nice plastic case, all rods shipped intact.

these 1/16 welding rods are amazing use with a very low current! but they work great! go ahead and buy 2 or 3 because you will not be dissapointed

I'm welding .065 steel, a bit thin but I don't have another means to do so. I like the bead but would prefer 7024 if I could find it in 1/16. The purchase lost one star because the rod box had been opened. I weighed it at 1.2 lbs, so it's all there, but I was concerned about the condition of the coating if it was subjected to moisture. It is a bit expensive at $10/lb, what with Blue Demon being $20 for 5 lbs, but I wanted to try it before buying that quantity.
