Un repuesto caro. Causa desconocida, pero lo ideal para suspenciones Fox, aunque hay que pagar un poco más. Es necesario para que nuestros componentes Fox duren más.

Why use anything other than Fox original seals? Sure, you can spend more and get SKF and supposedly get smoother action (along with that FUGLY green), but I'd rather spend the $$ on higher end oils, which will give you better long-term performance anyway

Worked perfect on my 2010 fox 32 29er open bath. Damper side 160mlSpring side 30 ml using fox 20weight gold. I think I was supposed to use 10 wt but this works great. Old seals had flanges. New seals are flangeless. Still a perfect fit with the seal aligning tool to knock it in.

I installed the 32mm Fox Dust Wipers (#830-00-944 B) on a 2010 Fox RL 140mm fork with no problems. It took me about 3-4 minutes per leg to carefully level out the seals using a Unior seal installation tool. I left the seals sitting about 1/32" above flush (see inset pictures). I placed the fork on a rubber mat with a board underneath and used a plastic no-bounce hammer to strike the insert guide tool. I'd estimate I used no more than about 5 pounds of striking thrust. Earlier in the week I'd installed two sets of SKF flanged seals on two other forks. While the SKF (green) seals are a bit easier to install (due to the flange), I would not hesitate buying and installing these Fox seals in the future. My only caution is to be careful you don't drive the seals in too far (i.e., below flush). If you let the tool face bottom out against the fork, you will have driven them in too far. Additionally, it takes less force to continue to install the seals once they've started versus the initial force required to start them. Once they start, adjust your taps (side per side) to correct any leveling problems. Note: Fourth image has a picture of the Unior Guide Tool. I gave the wiper seals a 4 star rating due to them not being fool proof to install.

So I'm told that Fox recommends an "annual rebuild" and the seal/oil service...every 30hrs?!???!? Guess I was a bit behind since my bike was a 2013 and the forks had had zero maintenance from then until now (2020). The process is straightforward and there are a ton of 'How To' videos on YouTube. I did not use a special tool to drive the rods out, but rather just used the nuts and tapped gently until they broke loose. To pry the old seals out, I found a 19mm open end wrench is the perfect pry tool. I might still have not done this service except my left side had started leaving oil up the stanchion after a ride. Disassembly revealed that the seal had been damaged on that side and was not making a seal anymore. Cleaned everything up and re-assembled per the videos. I read that people use various things from PVC to vacuum cleaner extensions to drive the seals back in. I found a steal of a deal on eBay for a slightly used 32mm seal driver tool and snagged it. The tool really did make it easy to drive the new ones back in. Holding air pressure and no oil coming out now. Good to go! I still don't think I am going to do this "every 30hrs" as I'd be doing it monthly and if they lasted 7 years the first time...well there ya go.As a final note, most of the YouTube videos show this being done with the fork removed from the bike. If you have a bike stand or a way to keep the front of the bike elevated, this really isn't required. I put my bike up in a stand, dropped the wheel, unbolted the disc brake caliper from the fork and did the work. When I was ready to put the oil in I simply stood the bike upside down on the handlebars/seat. Injected the oil, installed the nut and crush washer hardware, cinched it up, put the wheel and caliper back on and it was ready to roll. Don't forget to put some air back in!

I used to use the rwc seals which were better (better gliding, longer lasting) than the fox seals. I have the rwc installation tool.Just like when removing old seals you need to get the fork hot. I submerged the top of my lowers in boiling water which softens the seals significantly, ditto for install. These seals are compatible with the new gold fork oil - i think the new oil is a huge upgrade too.I think these new seals are as good as the rwc seals.Use a small amount of slickoleum (same as slick honey but much cheaper.)

I see a lot of low ratings for these seals and I assume it's because people are using the wrong tool or no tool at all.The old method of using a PVC pipe or socket to drive the seal won't work with flangeless seals. For these seals, you need a seal installation tool that has a pilot to hold the seal straight while driving it into the fork. I bought the $15 plastic tool from Unior and it made the installation easier than any seals I've ever installed.Get an installation tool with a pilot and the seals go in fine.
