I have the copper version which I have had for years. No problems whatsoever. Potatoes, tomatoes, bananas, Onions, and it holds a lot.

It looks fantastic in my kitchen. I bought it to store fruit in. I was losing a lot of money on fruit going bad. I was storing my fruit in the bottom drawer of my fridge. I always forgot about it. Now I have fresh fruit I can snack on!

It arrived in good time and well packaged.I filled it with fruit and hung it up. Unfortunately it fell apart throwing fruit all over the floor.It was an easy fix for me but might not be for others. I was thinking about sending it back but decided to fix it and give it another go.If you’re careful placing fruit in it, it looks alright and performs the function of holding fruit.I would ask that the manufacturer places more emphasis on increasing the strength of the links.

This has turned out to be a good hanging fruit basket. It holds a decent amount of food and the baskets are deeper than most so you can stack fruits and veggies that won’t bruise. I had doubts about the durability and weight capacity as it feels flimsy, but as you can see in the picture it is holding 3 large onions, 3 sweet potatoes, 2 garlic cloves, a bunch of bananas, and some clementines. Earlier in the week it held these plus a tomato, another onion, and three avocados, so my doubts about its weight capacity have gone away. It is a lifesaver for my small janky apartment. Needs an extender for high ceilings but I knew this going into the purchase.Pros- weight capacity, basket depth, design is pleasant, folds up for storageCons- not great for high ceilings (see picture)

Very nice looking baskets. Shame there wasn’t any installation tools provided as a matching copper hook and an additional chain to hang it a bit lower seems like a good idea. Instead I had to use a silver one which makes it look less proper. Still happy with the product. Don’t know how well will it be after some time of using but so far it seems quite resistant to weight of fruits and veg regardless for how fragile it looked in the first place.

This is a lovely basket for the price point. It is a nice rose gold color. However it is a little flimsy and doesn’t hold a lot of stuff. Still it fits my needs and is worth it for the price.

When I received my hanging fruit basket I was relieved to see that it was just as pretty as I had hoped. It's a gorgeous gleaming copper totally without blemishes. I did note, however, that it looked very delicate and fragile. I became worried that it wouldn't be able to hold up to the large weight of all my fruits and veggies.I hung mine and added a teardrop crystal embellishment before loading in my produce. I felt it necessary to add one item at a time very, very carefully. But when I was done, it held all my foodstuffs without appearing to be under any strain. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase as I am a fan of all things copper and rose gold. It adds an element of personality that my kitchen had previously lacked.

I've had one of these before and we used it for quite a while before it broke on my hubby. I have another just like it now and we load ours up with potatoes, fruit and onions. What's the point if you can only put a couple things in it???!!! It does a good job considering they don't make them from the strongest materials. I had one of the links come undone a couple months after purchase and I just refastened it and made the link tighter. It's been great. I'd recommend it--and I have a toddler that I am very protective of and it's never fallen on my child's head! If it does break on you, it'll probably be when you are loading or unloading it. When it's just hanging there it doesn't ever seem to have a problem.I had to come back and redo this review. I have sadly given up on these things. I've had 3 and they just keep breaking. I love how they look and how practical they are for a small kitchen with very little space but I wish someone would make them more sturdy. I have no use for a hanging basket that I can only put a few things in--I cook and feed a family. If I was single it might be sturdy enough. I'm very disappointed.
