Iko likes it! She’s been carrying this Franklin disc to the frisbee field and back home for over a year and a half and it is still going strong. Granted, she has a “soft mouth” and is not a chewer, but this disc has exceeded my expectations. It is a hard enough plastic that she doesn’t try to catch it very often - that hurts - but she loves it!

I've been trying to teach my dog how to fetch, and I thought this would be the perfect tool for the job. Although my dog is not getting the idea, I have to say that this frisbee is quite sturdy. She's an aggressive chewer, but this frisbee shows very little damage. It flies well, has good weight distribution and a nice balanced feel. I miss the days when frisbees were just a couple of dollars, but the price for this one was not too bad. This flying disc, made in China, is similar to Wham-O's Frisbee, also made of polypropylene, and is available at a lower cost than the Wham-O product. However, the plastic is not quite as flexible and is harder to the touch. Game play with this disc, that weighs in at 135g, might result in more hurt fingers than one is likely to get with a Frisbee. Also, since the disc is not perfectly formed, there's a little wobble to the flight path. However, this remains a fair choice if you're playing on pavement where the base is likely to get scratched up, or if you're playing with a dog, since the firmer plastic is likely going to tolerate more biting than an average Frisbee would.
