Seems to be well made and the finish is excellent.Have not fitted yet, but looks easy enough to do. Adjustment could be a bit more time consuming but we will see.The springs are very strong.

For a basic replacement clamp on front derailleur, at only £10 (Jul '24) this is OK value and seems well made with no noticable slop in joints and a smooth action and firm spring. Its a shame it does not have the guide sticker to set correct height. It just comes in a plastci bag with no instructions, but if you are fitting this then make sure you know what you are doing - angle and height is crucial to good shifting - if the shifting is not smooth and easy, you may have not installed it correctly. The clamp comes with a rubbery-plastic spacer to fit different size tubes and protect the paint.Clamp on only.

It's nice that this is a bottom pulled derailer... but it would nice to have that clearly mentioned in the product description. I feel that this feature is really important and not to make it clear will lose a star. There are top pull and bottom pull, and they're not interchangable.secondly, they could lose another half star for using a rivet to close the derailer loop, rather than a screw; which wouldn't necessitate unlinking the chain. Which is a pain in the butt. But, the rivet is clearly seen in every picture, so they get 4 stars in the end
