Installed these for front of my 2015 Honda Shadow Aero 750C. For the mounting peg adapters that are included in the kit, one is longer than the other - as are the factory mounting brackets on the bike - the left one is deeper than the right. So if one seems much too long try it on the other side. The stock pin that goes through the stock foot peg fits perfectly with these new mounting peg adapters. The mounting adapters are poorly made in two ways. First it appears they sized them to full max tolerance (plus chrome). Second is there is a sizable burr where these adapters were sawed and they just chromed over the burrs rather than cleaning up those cuts first. So for the left side, with a large hand file, I had to first remove the two big burrs and then put sizeable chamfers all around so it would slip into the bracket with help from a hammer. This of course removed the chrome plating so I expect they may rust up, although I plan to never ride in the rain. For the right side, this adapter slips right into the mounting bracket no problem. The problem is it's too long beyond the pin hole so I can't get the holes to line up. Since I refuse to physically alter the original bike in any way, I have to grind off or saw off about 3/16" from the back end of the adapter. Actually haven't done that yet. but I'm pretty it will be fine. This of course also removes the chrome plating so there's that.Lastly, they are a bit flimsy, not terrible, but once mounted you can make them flex with not too much effort. I definitely will not be standing up on these to stretch while motoring along at 70mph. I have folding Kuryakyn floorbards coming for the rear. I suspect I will find them much more stout and will probably get Kuryakyn boards for the front once I find a pair that will work. They of course are much more expensive. You get what you pay for.
