Installed this within an hour of it being delivered. Did quite a bit of research on a few of these motors and decided to go with this one due to it being .2 better than the others. Took me about an hour and a half and also power washed the back arm although it doesn’t have a motor attached to it to make sure everything was free-flowing. At first it would not close all the way, which is what led me to power washing it. After doing so, worked 10/10 times and happy with the results. I will update after six months

The new motor and bracket has the flat side with hole for set screw vertical in the out position. The back bracket is horizontal in the out position. I’m SOL I guess because I waited to long to install it.

This was a real quick swap.maybe 45 minutes. 2017 F150. I removed five screws and three bolts. The OEM wire coupler was the most challenging getting it separated. The product it self looked identical to the OEM. Perfect fit, high quality material, worked with no issues!

Replacement was straight forward. Had to remove the rusted nuts holding on the existing hardware…but that’s not the fault of this product.

Ford dealership wanted $650 just for the motor. This comes with the bracket which made it way easier to install 6 bolts total and slides right off without taking the entire running board off. Only took about 30 minutes to remove the old and install the new!!!
