This thing broke with the first use. The screen comes apart from the frame immediately. So it's absolutely worthless.

This product is rubbish. Don’t buy it. Edges don’t line up mesh isn’t sealed properly gaps everywhere for insects to get through. Terribly made.

This screen is kind of a piece of junk. 5 minutes after unboxing it, the screen was already coming out of the frame in multiple places, I ended up having to hot glue it to keep it on, there were crooked nails in each end that got caught in my window frame, and it just feels cheap and flimsy. 3 stars because of how easy it is to use, and because it basically works for what I needed it since I glued it all together.

I purchased this because the screens in my apartment are destroyed from former tenants and not repaired. I have a window fan (supposed to be insert that didn't work as well I had hoped) that I place in front of it.The screen is sturdy and fits into the grooves from the window. It removes or inserts easily as needed and I'm certain it will stand up to my adventurous cat.

Needed this desperately for my 3rd floor window which my cats would always try to climb out of. I’ve wasted so much money trying to get certain screens to fit when I should have just gotten this. Easily fits into the tracks and push window down on top of screen for more durability. Light weight but still does the job. 10/10 would recommend.

We bought this to protect our over zealous kitten from falling out our bedroom window. We have windows that slide up and down and she was constantly wedging herself up in between the panes and pressing herself against the screen. Then one day we noticed she had actually popped the screen out.We bought this, and it expands to the exact length of our window, which is awesome. It also fits inside the track, so it's nice and secure. It's not going to be overly sturdy because it's a screen. But baring she rips the screen open, it's perfectly adequate. Either way, we now have a double wall of safety.Definitely glad we gave it a try! For just over 20 bucks, a 1 minute install and perfect peace of mind. Would definitely recommend!

As you can see from the photo, the way the sliding extension works there will be a small gap at one side at the top when you bring a sash window down on top of it. Generally doesn't let bugs in though. Also the wood at each end is unfinished (as you can see in the photo) which looks cheap, though I've since realised that's probably so you can paint it however you like (which is something that would be harder to do if it were all metal. It's not as tall as others on the market which is fine for me as one of my windows doesn't open very far - and I'm too lazy to build my own, which is why I was willing to pay the high £30-40 asking price from this seller - but I can't really say it's great value compared to other options.

My cat, Carlos, in his fervor to escape & go after an outside lizard, often popped out the screen’s spline & escaped. Again & again I put the screen back in & he did this so often, I had to resort to using Gorilla glue on the spine& he still escaped! So I bought one of these mini screens as an experiment & it worked!!! He tried to pull it back but I put double stick tape on the ends so he was stopped in his efforts! Ha! So I bought more mini screens for the rest of the patio windows. I won this battle against my escape artist.

Y'all, let me tell you. As someone who lives on the southern coast where there are swamps, BUGS, and a nice nighttime breeze you just got to enjoy, this thing was a godsend. My house is old and didn't have screens on them and honestly, I didn't have the time nor motivation to install them on my own, so I got this thing and let me tell y'all, perfection. It fit seamlessly into my window frame and kept MOST of the bugs out. There were some tiny gnats and such who got through because this thing does leave some gaps in some parts where the window doesn't meet the screen, but it would have been much worse without it. I could hear bugs running into that thing all night long, especially when I had a lamp on to read.I love this thing, but I did finally move into an apartment where it wouldn't be needed, but my friend, who just bought her house, decided to take it for the same purpose. She loves it, too!I really recommend this product. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and lets you enjoy the nighttime breeze.

We do not have screens in the windows on the front of the house as I don't like the look of the typical window screen. I wanted to be able to open the window in my office on nice days without letting bugs in. This works perfectly. It is adjustable to fit the window well. I do have two dogs that sometimes push their nose against it and it doesn't move and the screen seems durable.

This seems to be exactly as advertised and mostly does its job well. It is easily adjustable with no trouble at all. It fits inside the side casings of the window, as opposed to having a groove at the top or bottom that fits around the window or casing (as a window AC unit does, for example), but the side casings and the weight of the window has been enough to snugly hold mine in place even when I applied a bit of force pushing on it. The screen itself is a wire mesh that allows for airflow and will stop all but the tiniest of bugs (e.g. ants, gnats) from coming through. If it had grooves for the top or bottom and the screen was made of the usually more solid material used in conventional screens so that it could stop things like fruit flies then I would have given it 5 stars, but as is the screen seems to work as advertised without any real problems.
