Update: After about 700 miles on this chain it has almost 0.25% wear, and I don't ride in the rain and had less than 50 miles on gravel. Accordingly I'm dinging this chain a star since it is wearing quite a bit faster than the name brand chains. Still not a bad deal.Original review here: I used this to break a generic 7 speed chain and also a Shimano 11-speed chain. Worked well both times. Extra pin included and it includes the hook tool to hold the chain together while you break or join.

Cheaply made/very flimsy. The tolerances of this chain were not up to spec. As soon as I put lots of power to the pedals (like climbing) the chain would jump cogs and slip. This was on my mid 90's trek with what was very high end components back then. This was the only gold 7bsoeed chain I could find so I have to give up on the gold color and get a quality chain instead.

I ride hard mtb and smash my chain a lot and thins Cain broke 2 times in a month maybe it’s because I’m too hard on it but the links seem a little weak if your jumping of just road I think you should get a name brand chain instead but if you cheap buy it I’m still running it I just take a link out when it brakes shell that’s my review

This is a good chain for the money. It's smooth and quiet. I put it on a 21 speed mountain bike. It was an easy swap that required me to take out four links. It looks good too.

This was Delivered today & I am in the process of rebuilding by rear hollow axle on my e-Bike So I added the chain cause the old one had @ least 1000 miles on it.....I like it so far once the bike is up & running again I will know more....!! Strong looking...!!Thanks...!!

Got this for my 1990 Cannondale Black Lightning which I've been doing some much needed refurbishing. It has a 7 speed SunTour Sprint 9000 shifter and the original chain was gold to go with the black and gold original color scheme. It shifts fine and looks great!
