The kit was complete and had all the parts required to replace the fuel pump in our John Deer Ride on (Kohler engine). Only downside was the kit had no instructions on how to assemble the parts.

I no the problem people are having with these leaking. The problem is the clips are razor sharp and the Orings will be damaged causing leaks. I removed the clips and routed zip ties to hold the fittings. No leaks, no problems. The pump only produces 2 to 3 psi which will work fine with the zip ties. I'm not sure why the plastic clips are so hard and sharp, but that is the problem. Leaked right away and I could see the damage on the Orings.

Instructions would have been useful in determining if I should use the metal plate or not. Decided the safest choice was install the plate and luckily that was the right choice - the mower runs fine.On the inlet and outlet fittings, instead of using the big C-clip to press in on the retainer, I used hose pliers to do so and then wiggled the fitting into the pump housing without damage. I also pre-lubed the O-rings with silicone grease to help with insertion. This fuel pump is a very economical option when compared to the OEM part.

The pump fittings are a little tricky to install, even with the provided snap ring, but the pump was a direct fit, easy to install and works great.

Got mower that sat for several years that never ran correctly. Noted fuel not flowing past filter and fuel pump had failed. Replaced with this new one (Wadoy Fuel Pump Kit) and after some wrangling to get the new fuel connectors attached engine fired right up with free flowing fuel through filter.Only issue was the fuel connectors snap ring they sent did not fit the item and had to get a snap ring plier to insert the new fuel fittings. Fuel pump works great will buy again if needed.
