I loved this bonnet! It held its structure nicely, and was a perfect addition to my costume! I loved the lace detailing, and the materials seem to be of a nice quality. I was hoping it would be more of a blue/grey to match my other accessories, but it’s definitely just grey. (Which is what’s advertised, I was just wishful thinking lol).

So the ‘bonnet’ I received in the mail is really high-quality, and it is obvious that it was made with great attention to detail. That being said, it is NOT a full bonnet. It is as if you took a bonnet and then cut off the brim and kept only the brim. It’s a little Bizzarre, but I guess it is somewhat effective for a Victorian inspired “look.”I have to say, I didn’t expect a brim, instead of a bonnet, and I had to go back and look at the listing pictures really really carefully to understand that a brim is what was being sold after I already had it in my hand. So just be aware it is not a full bonnet.The brim really is excellent quality and very cute.

The material isn't heavy, so it really does feel like something you could wear in the sun. It fits the historical era perfectly, and I always think it would be fun to dress up in these historical periods for a party. I hope to have the opportunity to wear it soon.
