Replaced a Dometic rooftop AC on our 24' toy hauler. My mechanic recommended it and it is a good choice. It's much quieter and cools very well. It did require a $50 conversion kit. It comes with a 2-year limited warranty. We were able to reuse the same thermostat and inside roof panel/ filter so it appears to be original inside. The suit is smaller (lower profile) and less weight as well.

Replaced my stock unit that burnt out with this, it blows a lot harder and cools my tv down far quicker then my original unit.

I bought this in March 2024. The unit came missing pieces. When I powered it on, it was very loud. And then the unit blew my breaker. It took another $500 for a technician to come out and tell me that I received a bad unit. I wound up buying window units to beat the summer heat.Pro: Looks Slick and Futuristic. It is lightweight.

Easy to install and works great. My OEM unit only lasted two seasons (matched the warranty period) and gave up the ghost. Getting ready to order a second unit for the front bedroom of our camper. The unit is quite a bit quieter than the Dometic unit it replaced. I added the conversion kit for Dometic to Furrion which worked well.

I love this AC. it was easy to replace my 5 year old coleman mach and it literally chills the RV. The only problem is that i thought getting a white shroud would keep it cooler. It doesnt matter, the whole thing is insulated inside with foam. The white or black is an aesthetic thing. Get a white one if your RV is white, and get a black one if your RV is dark. If you dont, you'll have this weird white thing sticking up from the top of a black RV. I want a black shroud now. I got the white. It still get hot, so dont worry about trying to save a few insignificant unmeasured heat differences. But the thing really works, was packaged nicely, and installed it by myself. I picked it up on my back and carried it up on a ladder. Its heavy. But if your frikin strong, you can do it. Im not strong, just dumb. Goodluck and stay cool out there.

We were replacing the Dometic 13500 btu air conditioner on a 2018 Salem travel trailer that had stopped cooling because it was low on refrigerant. The Furrion unit arrived in 2 days and was in perfect condition. We built a simple slide with boards and pulled it up the slide still in its box to get it on the roof. We put the old unit in the box and lowered it down the same slide. The Furrion fit nicely in the spot and just plugged right in perfectly. We had to take the freeze sensor off the Dometic unit. We just gently pulled it out of the fins and put it in the Furrion exactly the way it was on the dometic. The Dometic thermostat would show an SR3 code with out the freeze sensor. After we did this everything worked perfect . The Dometic thermostat that runs the heat and air works nicely with the new furrion unit.

This is a great air conditioner. Our original furrion ac never worked right, but we took a chance on another one. I think the controller was bad. Bought a new controller, installed this ac and wow, what a difference! AC doesn't cycle on and off all the time and way, way quieter. Plus, it has more output than the original, same btu system that it replaced. Took about an hour to re-wire the controler(used YouTube for tutorial) and mount it to the roof and ceiling. Toughest part was getting it on the roof without damaging it or the rv! Highly recommend it!

(I purchased 2) These units are a great replacement for the Coleman Mach AC’s that we had which were 14 years old. They run much quieter inside and outside you barely hear the separate fan running. I’m fairly handy and only needed help getting old/new units off/on the roof. My install required adapter kits for mounting and connections but it was all plug and play. Retained original functionality of the controls as well. Camping this last summer in 94° heat outside was comfortable at 68° to 70° inside the RV. They have performed exceptionally well, run quietly and are a great value for the cost.
