I place this in my tree at the beginning of the hunting season and take it out at the end. They are great for putting my quiver on the tree when I climb up my tree in the dark. Pop the quiver off the bow, place it on the tree mount, lock it and it will stay there till you take it down. I've never had it move regardless of how hard the wind was blowing. I love my G5 quiver and tree mount.
