Replaced one in my GM transmission in my 2010 BMW X3, E83 with N52 engine. Took about an hour to replace and my driving gears were immediately recognized and displayed.

I broke my neutral safety switch when putting the valve body back in. I tried using a GM unit for an 09 Cadillac SLS (or something like that) and It didn't work because the Cadillac has more positions the shifter can move to. Meaning you have to use a BMW one. This one is working great after a few thousand miles. Great price!! way better than the $300 BMW wants at the dealer.
