These are cute little dampeners for my tennis racket. They were easy to install and work as I would expect. Nothing too fancy, just a little bit to take the sting out. So far so good!

On new strings they seem to last about 4-6 hours of play time before I notice that they pop off on my poly strings after a while. This seems to be a bit below average compared to other dampeners I've used in the past. That being said, I do like the look and the feel of them compared to those others so I guess you win some you lose some.7/10 I would recommend it. I hope this review is helpful.

So my husband plays tennis for sport. He liked these dampeners until it started coming off after a few rounds with the ball machine. He isn't a hard core player by any means either. But when it was on, it made a difference in his play and control of the ball. He says he wouldn't get these again, maybe for a super beginner but not a skilled player.

UPDATED REVIEW: After just a few months of using, the dampener keeps falling off:(ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’ve been playing tennis for about 12 years and I’ve had tennis elbow three times:0 I always keep one of these dampeners on my racket to help reduce some of the vibrations. I recently had my racket restrung and they forgot to put my dampener back on my racket. These specifically said they were for tennis elbow so I just decided to try this style instead of a more decorative fun style. I’m not sure if this is better than the cute decorative dampeners but it’s worth a try to avoid any problems with my arm. It says these have a patent Zorbicon gel to absorb more vibrations. This is not a cure for tennis elbow, and it does not prevent tennis elbow, but it helps reduce the vibrations which can be a contributing factor. These are a very simple design. They were almost too easy to install. I will update if they fall off. They are priced competitively.

A dampener is not a high tech product. ANd yet they often cost way more than they should. This alternative is excellent. It's really simple to install, effectively dampens vibration of the strings, and is offered at a low (and much more reasonable) price compared to some name brand alternatives.While I've not had problems with it popping off during play, perhaps that's because I always hit the ball directly in the sweet spot of the racquet. (And maybe the Easter Bunny is real too!) Anyway, so far, so good.This is a very good, effective product offered at a great price, making it an excellent value. Highly recommended.

I've never used dampeners before, but recently I've been dealing with some wrist and forearm issues. Gamma has always been a company that I've heard about when it comes to tennis gear, so I decided to give these a try. Lo and behold, I feel a definite difference. I mean, I won't be able to tell how it helps my wrist until I give it some time, but I do feel the dampening effect. I think I'm a convert to using dampeners.These dampeners are easy to install, and it seems to hold secure. I had no need to adjust the dampener from moving around. They're pretty understated so it doesn't draw attention like those fancy or cutesy dampeners. That's just the way I like it. All in all, these dampeners work great, and the price is very reasonable. Love it!
