My 4 year old is on the thin side and while she can wear Carters 5T just fine, I knew to size down in Gap clothes as I know they run a little big especially in the waist. Sometimes size 4T will be a little short but they fit in the waist, but these actually fit her perfectly even in the length. It's a cute set and good. They are nice quality what I expect from GAP.

My daughter adores these leggings. They are very soft and flexible, so she can move freely and comfortably. There’s a fair amount of stretch in the fabric, so she will be able to wear them for a long time, too. Naturally, her favorite pair is the one with the colorful stars, but all three have proven very versatile. If you have a taller child, you’ll especially like these as they seem to run slightly longer than other 3T leggings in our closet.The fabric is thin, which is fine in these warmer spring and summer months. When the weather turns cool, I think these will still be quite nice as a substitute for tights under dresses or skirts, but they will not be warm enough to serve as pants.I have washed these leggings a few times and have not noticed any color fading or noticeable shrinkage.

Fitted without being too tight, high quality material with some stretch go it. These are adorable. Definite upgrade from the Cat & Jack brand.

These are great quality leggings for my daughter. They are a bit thicker than others we have and seem really well made. They fit her well and should work for a size below and maybe even above too. She has played in them a lot and they have held up pretty well. I would recommend them.
