This fabric is an outdoor water resistant polyester fabric. This is not a mesh porous fabric. REQUIRED HARDWARE (NOT INCLUDED, purchase separately). Each replacement shade canopy is outfitted with long tubular pockets at each end. Each long pocket is designed for you to insert a weight rod to act as a weight. By inserting a rod weight on each end, the shade will stay in place during windy conditions. Enjoy the outdoors more often! Traditional pergolas cannot provide adequate shade during hot sunny days. Only a shade canopy can help provide comfort for extended enjoyment.Because of its extra-large size, production requires two large sheets of fabric to be joined together to make this canopy. There will be a cleanly sewn seam at the center of the canopy.

We had an older model that had a retractable cover. This cover was able to be easily modified to fit and give our pergola a few more years.

My pergola replacement canopy arrived quickly. It's a vibrant blue. It's well made with extra stitching at the ties. I like the grommet holes in the top, which help to let rain run through so the water doesn't build up and weigh the canopy down.

We are totally happy with this sturdy product! Great quality and has already survived a few wind storms and lots of rain. Pole ties are well constructed and gromets on holes enable rain to drain through, preventing huge pools forming and ruining the canopy.I had read some negative reviews online, but none of them seemed to be true in our case. Highly recommend.

Looks well built, but has some areas where it fell short of the original that came on my pergola from Sears/Lowe’s. This replacement filters out SIGNIFICANTLY less light, making it brighter and warmer underneath it. The ties are attached to the fabric while the originals tie to the rod. This doesn’t allow for the fabric to fold under the rod when you want one side shorter without the other becoming longer. I fished my old ties out of the trash and used them. This is a universal replacement that covers many models, so I’m not really upset that it’s about 8” narrower than the pergola was built for, this just means less shade. Next time I will be looking for a model closer to the original, primarily for a thicker material.Update: after a few weeks I’m even less happy with the product. Because of the thinner material, the fabric slides completely to one side in even the slightest breeze or touch. You can’t have both sides half down for long, it will draw all to one side. The original fabric was thicker and resisted the weight of the rod more successfully.

Purchased as a replacement for a putty coloured canopy. Nice colour but I didnt really consider how much bird droppings would show up on it. Not as heavy as the one I was replacing so doesn't do wind as well. Worth the price but next time I will spend more to get something more substantial.

Love the color and fit of this canopy but unfortunately, when it rains, the water gathers and sits on top. I thought the built in holes would help with this but that was not the case. Wish they could figure out a way to improve water drainage.

This item worked well. The motion water sprinklers I purchased last summer however did not last one month before they both stopped working. I did email about these but received no response. I was not satisfied with these $75 items.
