The extended Velcro strap is 11.8 inches length , to go around the legs of the gazebo/tent, which diamter is less than 80mm, both for thin and thick poles. Canopy sand bags stand up and Velcro to each pole of gazebo/ten and keep them from being budged.
Those weights for canopy are very sturdy and easy to fill. The Velcro closure secures it tightly! Fill weights into the bag, leaving enough to fold over top edge of weight bag. This protects the Velcro around the top of the bag from getting covered in filled material and makes it easy to seal the bag once filled.
Those tent weights are plenty heavy enough to keep canopy/tent/umbrella in place, keep them from blowing over and decrease the frequency of being staked down. They work very well in a usually windy environment.
Those canopy weight bags are easy to fill and carry with an additional loop on the top. When not in use, you can empty and rinse them out, and fold up. They pack flat so they can pretty much go in any bag, won't take much space.
