I had a 4 peg Garmin User interface and a newer transponder thingy on the back and it had 8 pins.This allowed them to fit together. I have not powered it up yet, but it FIT!!!

I ordered this part to hopefully solve a connection issue with my older Garmin and the new transducer. Unfortunately, it will not solve my problem.
