I am very pleased with the 2020 Aluminum Extrusions 10 pack. As seen in my review pictures, the product was very well packed. The Aluminum extrusions are of high quality strong aluminum material. The measurements of the product are decently accurate. Being that the product is a 10 pack it is a great value for money although I have seen cheaper options of the same product. The Aluminum extrusions have great functionality being best suit for 2020 Aluminum extrusion attachments. Some pieces of aluminum metal are left on the product but they are easy to remove. Thank you

Not really much to say about this. Same well packaged in bubble wrap. Pieces seem straight and well cut. Ends don't seem too mangled but there are some dings and gouges. Like most ones you buy online there is going to be a lot of metal chips so make sure you do this in an area you can afford to clean easily.

These are are well made and accurately cut to the proper dimension. Other than that fact it's just like any other Aluminum extrusion. I will say the packing was rather odd, each profile was individually wrapped in a plastic, and they had shavings of aluminum from the production stuck. Nothing large or sharp enough to cut me, but I may have just gotten lucky there, In any event wear gloves when opening these for the first time, and have a trash can handy for all the excess plastic.

The more I use aluminum extrusion to build things, the more things I think of to build. I’ve used the stuff to build out my camper van and to build a workbench in my garage. Recently, I used it to create a wall easel to oil paint - it’s endlessly adaptable and functional. After I built the easel I built a cabinet for my art supplies. I love this stuff!

the edges are a bit rough and still have some burrs but they are easy to clean up and work for my intended purpose.

This set of 5 pieces arrived in perfect condition. They were well packed and each piece was covered on all sides with protective tape. There were a lot of aluminum chips stuck to the adhesive side but it almost all came off with the tape and had no affect on the aluminum pieces themselves. The tape does leave a bit of residue however, so the extrusions need a quick cleaning with isopropanol (or better, heptane) before use. These are the customary 6063 T5 alloy. I have used aluminum extrusions quite a lot and I have never yet found one that wasn’t accurate in its dimensions. This item is no different and the end profile matches the stated dimensions and each measured exactly 400 mm long.The black anodized finish is a dull black rather than shiny as described. It is not as slick as the typical shinier extrusions, and nuts may not slide quite as easily. However, that is of no consequence since these are T-slot, not vSlot extrusions, and are suited more for structural rather than linear motion applications anyway. All the usual t-slot fittings worked fine. Overall, not the best extrusions I have seen but perfectly fine and likely well-suited to structural projects.

My new workshop is climate controlled. Some 3D print materials, like ABS filament, are very sensitive to temperature fluctuations. And my laser engravers produce a great deal of smoke. I’m building enclosures for both of these with this 2020 extruded aluminum. This is premium material. Has a really nice finish and is cleanly extruded. There are a great deal of fasteners, brackets, hinges, etc., available on Amazon for 2020 material. It’s lightweight and very strong. The design possibilities are only limited by your imagination.
