I did not need to do anything but screw the fitting in and it sealed up air tight. Great product.

These are high quality brass fittings. 1/4" air line fits perfectly and seals just like it should. The NPT end has nice clean threads and is properly pitched and tapered. They come with sealant already on them so you can screw them right into your fitting. I installed them in some air bags on an air suspension and have had not trouble with them at all.
