I run this set with a dewalt dcf961- dewalts biggest impact wrench" and while there is a minor noticeable damage to its biggest socket what do you expect it's half inch drive. It's biggest socket can take off rusted old semi trailer pup lugs. The only other bolt I can think of needing a socket for is loader fork but there is no 1/2 inch gun that can do those therfore it is the best socket set on Amazon and the best one I personally could find anywhere.

Came a few days earlier than it said it was coming even though it took 8 days as it was , came Canada post from b.c. ! Love having these in its own case.all sizes from 8 ml up . So really no need to buy sae set also at this time. This set has you covered for long reach impact ready…

I love this set. We have the deep wall 8 mm to 36 and doesn’t miss a socket. Very durable! we use them in our shop at a salvage yard and there are some serious tough stubborn bolts and nuts to move. They haven’t let me down. We haven’t broken one. Even with our 1500 ft pounds gun turning them. We removed a lot of parts with them so far and they are still good to go. No question.. great set for the money!

Love this set as it was a pretty good “complete” set it was a steal for the amount of sockets come in it with a Gearwrench lifetime warranty. The one I use on a daily basses like 19,21,22mm are starting to get a bit ate up from all the daily abuse from the last 2-3 month (waited a while to write a accurate review on performance as well.) but like I said they starting to get ate up starting being the key word. they Still got a long life ahead of them from what I can tell just wanted to write an accurate and honest review after having them a few months to say how they were holding up. not very rust resistant if you ask me The commonly used ones as stated before have rust on them when I get to work in the morning but the rust dose fall off or brush right off when I go to use it so it’s resisting it a bit but the rust dose form overnight and it’s worse on days I’m off and they didn’t get used all day the prior day but still brushes right off the sockets. All in all a great set that I highly recommend can’t ever go wrong with a lifetime warranty and complete steal of a price for the amount of sockets it comes with. I definitely highly recommend this set if you in the market for a good set to start or build your socket set or even as an upgrade like I bought it for started with only 10 sockets for my impact now I’m the only one in the shop with the sizes 25-36mm sockets and sadly enough no matter how many times I tell people to buy their own damn kit they always have to borrow mine when it comes to those sizes

I bought these sockets roughly a year ago and have used them quite often in a shop setting. The value of these sockets compared to other brands is insane! You can literally go get a Snap-On set and it cost you more money (roughly $500-$600) and you would get less variety of sockets and in my opinion realistically the same quality. I'm not going to bash the quality of snap on impact sockets as I've used them and they are well made but with the price of the snap on, its unjustifiable to go that route. Now obviously the sockets are getting abused especially since I use my Milwaukee impact or my air cat. I use the sockets on axle nuts, Rusty suspension bolts, have used them on bolts that were seized, rusted and pretty much anything that I've had to heat up and PB blast. I've seen minor damage to the sockets even after all the abuse and heat transfer over the course of the year. I personally feel that they will hold up for a way longer time and I really don't think I'll ever need to buy another socket to replace them. My suggestion is buy this set or buy the Grey Pneumatic set you'll be happier that you did.

if there is a con it may be the walls are a few thousandths thicker that the tool trump impactswho care these work and work welli use a matco 1/2 impact. it is pretty hard hitting when needed.haven't broke any sofarsome say these sockets rust. not an issue for me, nice set of sockets fair price glad i own them

I have used this many times in the short time I have owned it. The 6 point design has not let me down yet. I use this in combination with a Milwaukee 1/2" impact driver with 1400 ft lb of breaking force and these hold up beautifully. It is nice that there is such a large range of continuous sizes included. This is the most complete set I have seen at a very reasonable price. The case could be a little better, but overall this is a solid must have for the weekend warrior mechanic.

Love these gear wrench sockets so much that I've bought two sets. One for me and one for a friend for Christmas. The main thing I like is that it is a full set that does not skip sizes. They come in a very nice durable blow molded carrying case.I can usually grab this case and my Milwaukee impact gun and I'm good to go. Do yourself a favor and buy one of the newer style 4 lug impact swivels to get into those right places.

I have always just gotten sockets from Harbor Freight, they have worked just fine but are missing alot of sizes. I got sick of that and decided I needed to get a real full set. I found this set from Gear Wrench and it's the best set I've ever seen for the money. It has every sized socket out there in one kit and for a ridiculously low price. Each socket is very well marked with its size, the build quality is top notch and with these being made from CR-MO (Chrome molybdenum) instead of CR-V (Chrome vanadium) like cheap impact sockets, these will last MUCH LONGER.
