To me there's a big difference between firm, and hard, and this cushion in my opinion is hard. I'm confined to a wheelchair so I've purchased many cushions and firm is OK, but hard is not

I get back pain when I take long overseas plane trips. I used it for a 16 hour flight and it worked great! No back pain 😊 It seems like the honeycomb design is more supportive. The only downside is that it takes up a bit of room in my backpack, but it’s completely worth it.

Used these at the football games where they have metal bench stands. Highly recommend this for your butt. These are very comfortable and you will not be disappointed. Wish I found these earlier in the season. Very soft and the strap is great for carrying. Trust me for the price, your butt will thank you after using these.

So I have one of them expensive office chairs designed more for aesthetics then comfort and after prolonged sitting I noticed my lower back would ache. After a year or so I had a constant painful ache in my lower back thanks to this office chair. I’m happy to say that after about two weeks with this pad the pain is definitely subsiding, and I hope will no longer be a concern. So yeah, the pad definitely does what it claims to do which is make your sitting experience more pleasant and less painful. My only gripes are the size, which does really cover the while seating area and the fact that it needs to be repositioned every so often throughout the day.

I have used this cushion in my office chair at home because my chair doesn't have much cushion or give. The cushion definitely helps with some of the problems I was experiencing with discomfort in certain areas. However it is not the best, and could be designed better.The pros--My butt doesn't get too hot as this thing has decent airflow. The cover is breathable and the grid allows for breathing.-It does help with cushioning a little.-It has held up for the past year and looks and functions like newThe cons-I weigh 200lbs and its to thin to provide the support I really need. For shorter usages its fine, but after 8 hours in the chair, there are some hot spots.-It slides around on my seat. It has little grip beads in the material but they don't stop it from moving, so I have to adjust it several times a day to keep it in place.- It's too narrow for my body. another inch or two would be betterI will continue to use it for a few more months, but if I were to do it over again, I would spend a bit more and get a thicker, higher quality cushion.

This thing is amazing! After Long softball games sitting on hard metal bleachers serval times a week, this was a game changer. I had a friend who recommended the purple brand seat cushion but I was curious to try an off brand. Glad I did this had held up and is every bit as comfortable as my friends. I use it all the time in the car, at the kitchen table, in my office chair. After I’d say close to a month of near constant use this was one of the best purchases I’ve made in awhile. I will say this I’m only 130 pounds. If you are a bit larger or sitting for even longer periods of time 5+ hours you may want to try the thicker and wider ones for more room and better support. I’d describe the feel as cushion firm but the way it conforms really helps relieve pressure points. Which is to say not to hard and not to soft. If you are looking for a quality and affordable seat cushion for extra long drives a worn office chair or something for the occasional sporting event this is a great option!

I had Psoriatic Arthritis noticeable in every joint for about 20 years now. My hips though have been particularly painful these past few months. The one place I used to get some relief was sitting on one of the front car seats, until recently, and now don’t have anywhere that relieves the pain. So I needed something that could possibly help. I looked at quite a few possibilities, this looked particularly good because of the aeration it gives, so would be good winter or summer. I tried it out today on a 15 mile round trip and what a relief, it really was great to have something that could help with the uncomfortable arthritis, the shocks in my back and spine I get from the lumps & bumps from our terrible roads I have no choice but to endure, which normally set off bad back spasms. I’m pleased to say I didn’t get any spasms triggered, that was a big relief.So I am really pleased with this gel cushion and do highly recommend it for people who have hip problems related to arthritis. It really is a comfort. If I have anything else to add after having used it for a few months I’ll update my review. Thank you, I hope this is a help for any buyers
