Easy to install and it does prevent you from having the generator and the mains switched in at the same time.

I needed this to get my generator stand by system up to code at a way better price than picking one up local.

PROS:- Fits my Square D Homeline 200 AMP load center like a glove- Ruggedly built from quite thick metal- Came with mounting hardware, labels and even a drill bit- instructions are clear and well written- Easy to install: Use a good drill bit. I marked the three holes per the instructions, but I must have messed something up. I recommend you make sure at least one mark lines up with a hole in the base, drill that hole and then secure the base to the panel. Then, use the other holes as a guide for your drill.CONS (Hardly worth mentioning):- While it was nice they included it, the drill bit is pretty useless- The font on the red label is way, way too small

I recently used the DSGSANO S7 Generator Interlock Kit to wire up my generator for a safe power transition during outages. And honestly, it’s been a solid choice! The install was pretty straightforward—if you’ve got basic electrical knowledge, you can handle it no problem. It works perfectly with my Square D QO panel, and I love that it makes sure my generator and grid power don’t run at the same time. Definitely feels like a safer setup than some other kits I’ve tried. The build quality is top-notch, and the kit comes with everything you need.Compared to other kits, this one stood out because it’s easy to use, fits well with my system, and is fairly priced for the peace of mind it offers. If you're setting up a generator, this is a solid investment! 👌

We installed this on our house electric panel, just in time for Hurricane Milton to hit. We lost power, but we're able to safely power most of our house with our generator and guarantee no backfeed to the power lines. Always install an interlock kit that fits, it is worth it. Easy instructions and install. Solid metal design should last forever. Fit our Square D panel perfectly. Measure your main switch and the location you are placing the generator breaker, and buy the size you need.

I wanted to install a backup generator into my home electrical system. For safety an interlock is required so if running the generator the Main must be locked out. This works perfectly and was easy to install. The SquareD "O" branded interlock kit cost well over $150 when this fits perfect. The kit comes with the necessary safety stickers and a drill bit for the holes. As it turns out the drill bit isn't that great and I needed to use my own to cut through the steel panel. I'm very happy with the results and all the money I saved.

I don't often take time to write a review of Amazon purchases but I feel this one deserved the effort. I recently installed a generator hook for my home to make it easier for the wife and myself to hook up our generator and not have extension cords all over the place. As an added safety I added this interlock to my panel box, thusly I ordered this one. I was pleasantly surprised at how thick the aluminum is, about 3/16 of an inch, came with nice screws and the proper drill bit. It have very good instructions and was very easy to install. I do recommend making sure that you verify the manufacturer and model of your panel box. Works like and charm and I don't have to worry about back feeding the power grid and possibly electrocuting a lineman.
