I purchased my home 7 years ago and since then I have done 95% of my own Plumbing I've replaced hubs for my in-ground sprinkler system. Removed and replace my dishwasher removed and replaced my garbage disposal I have removed and replaced toilets, so I decided to install my own bidet. I figured this was a 30 minute task seeing that I got a simple model with hot water. While looking up and researching the bidets I came across this adapter decided it was not needed. Fast forward 2 weeks later with a constant leak in my master bathroom to the point where I had to shut off the water to the toilet because NOTHING, I did could get rid of a leak from the toilet tank to the first connection of the water line. At my wits end I went back in my Amazon account and found this adapter that I had saved for later and ordered it. I did take heed of the reviews that warned the cone washer is not in this adapter so I supplied my own cone washer and in three and a half minutes my leak issue was GONE, this adapter is super easy to install and it is exactly what is needed to make sure you have a secure leak free installation of your new bidet.

I tried some other T-valves, and they didnt work. Most are from China where the thread standards must be slightly different. They dont quite fit the threads of American Toilets, and can actually strip your plastic toilet pipe. This one thread perfect. Also, the others have metal nuts with not much threading. This one has a plastic head, that threads very deep into the toilet. Its a good quality valve, it is super smooth when turning on to off. This was the only one I tried that actually worked. The only drawback, is that the part that screws to the toilet is plastic, which is fine, but has a flat washer. A plastic connector like this should have a cone washer. That is the reason so many reviews mention leaking. I just took a cone washer from an extra toilet water hose I had, and put it on top of the washer already in the valve. Also, make sure the washer in the valve is completely seated before installing.

I purchased this to go with my new Luxe Neo 120 bidet attachment. The Luxe came with both plastic and metal T adapters, but neither had a lever to control the water pressure to the bidet. The beauty of the lever is that it doesn't affect water pressure to the toilet tank, but can decrease pressure to the bidet as well as shut off the water to the bidet if needed. It was easy to install and included a rubber washer (plus an extra one). I applied teflon tape on the metal connections to the supply hose and bidet hose, but did not for the plastic connection to the toilet tank. No leaks! Just make sure you check inside the toilet tank - when tightening the adapter, the float mechanism was pushed up against the tank wall, so the tank wouldn't stop filling. Easy to fix, but something to pay attention to while installing. Very happy with this high-quality adapter!

I purchased a Kohler toilet seat/bidet combination product that came with an all metal T-adapter that no many how times I tried I could not get to thread onto my toilet correctly. I ended using a wrench to tighten it as much as possible but it still never worked correctly, and slightly damaged the thread. I purchased this and it worked so much better, went on with ease and has been leak free so far! I did have a problem where the water kept running even though there was not a leak anywhere, I eventually realized that while tightening this it turned the ballcock and that just needed to rotated back into the correct position which was easy enough. Very happy with the purchase, would not have been able to use my bidet at all without this!

I originally purchased a shut off valve to attach to the T adapter that comes with the Luxe Bidet 185; however, it was not compatible with the T adapter. So I purchased this T adapter that is designed to be used with a bidet. The adapter appears to be well built and I haven't experienced in leaking thus far. It is simple to install and works well. The lever or knob requires very little effort to turn it on or off. I purchased this T adapter to be able to turn the water supply off to the bidet to prevent our kids from playing with it and making a mess. If you are needing to control the pressure of your bidet, it should work well for that too. I recommend it!

I chose this T-Adapter because the one that was included in the bidet package seemed to be less rigid and lacked the threads for braided faucet hose (1/2 to 3/8 with a Coupling adapter 3/8 OD to 3/8 FIP for bidet side). It’s well made and works perfectly, but does not come with a beveled washer for tank connection. I just removed the beveled washer from the one that came with the bidet and used it with this brass T-Adapter. Good luck and thanks for reading.

Quality and price are very good. Arrived promptly. Not sure how the feature to prevent accidentally turning it on (child proofing) is engaged.

The bidet I bought came with a metal T-adapter but it was cross-threading with the plastic toilet fill valve and it would leak no matter what I do. I installed this and there were no leaks!! I highly recommend this product if you are having the same problem.

This could quite easily be a 5 star because the installation was easy except that I was under the impression it would fit my bidet seat. I posted in the question part to make sure it fitted and was told it would. Lo and behold it did not so I had to run out to the Depot to pick up a reducer fitting and then all in the world was right.I have little grand-kids in the house so turning the water off was a necessity I didn't need a flood Lol.It works exactly as it should with no leaks and is well made.
