gear works and fit great. the only problem is on my end, should have opened up my rear end before guessing on the gear. had no idea I would find a 2:63 gear in the back, who would ever put that type of gear in an old truck. But yes this product fit my late 60's early 70's c6 trans perfectly and i had no issue with the clip working or it fitting the shaft. nice product!!!
