My 2003 Honda Element automatic transmission was starting to bump/jolt badly between 1st and 2nd gear. This solved that issue! As others mentioned, you will need to replace the gasket (Gasket B) and 4 o-rings (91301-PC9-003) as well. I also replaced the 4 metal pipes (22760-PPW-000) that the o-rings slide over. It works great now!

As for my own experience, the transmission shift solenoid has been working perfectly fine since installed. No issues to be addressed on my end.

The Element running again, try the knock off brand & just wasted time & money, save the hassle of doing same job twice, buy oem parts like this one.

This is a genuine honda part as described. Prior to buying this i bought a cheaper knockoff, made my shifting issues worse. Once I installed this honda part all shifts are smooth as butter I'm really amazed, Thank You !

I initially tried to save some money by purchasing an aftermarket knock-off of this part to fix the shifting problems (P0796 and P0797) in my 2005 Honda Element. That ended about like you'd expect, with me taking the ineffective Chinesium part back off and spending the money on the Genuine Honda part. Car problems were then solved. However, be advised, the genuine Honda part did not come with a new gasket or O-rings. You'll need to buy those separately. For this kind of money, you'd think they could include a new gasket and O-rings. You're guaranteed to need them.
