It came in an old, beat-up, dirty and torn package. Hopefully it works, it would be disappointing to tear apart the transmission for nothing.

I compared it with the OEM bearing in the transmission. The manufacturers’ name and bearing code were the same. The car is not humming anymore when I remove my foot from the gas. I recommend it for 04 civic ex manual.

This is the input shaft bearing for a 2001 Civic. This is the one you want to replace if you have transmission noise related to the clutch. It came in a Honda marked bag. Worked good for me.

My car was making a grumbling noise when the clutch was engaged that went away when I pushed in the clutch pedal. After replacing - Problem solved.PS. When you are done swapping out the bearing and it comes time to put the interlock guide bolt back in you will need to dry shift the transmission into second gear in order for it to go in (at least on my car 97 civic ex engine code d16y8). Also if you encounter any resistance when putting this bolt in stop because you don't have everything lined up. Also don't forget to replace the seal that goes under this bearing.
