Had a P0053 code (heated O2 sensor). After issues with aftermarket sensors, matched up the OEM part number with this sensor. Installed in under 30 minutes; CEL is off and car is running great again. The best thing? $60 cheaper than the parts store!

This is a GM OEM replacement, so there is minimal risk of premature failure or poor performance from off brand replacements. I replaced a wrong sensor previously installed by a repair shop that caused the engine to stall after one minute of startup. This sensor works perfectly and the engine now runs as it should. Cost of this correct GM sensor was about 1/3 of the wrong Bosch sensor.

Used on 2014 GMC Terrain when I changed the exhaust manifold. I would recommend it.

Ordered for my 2014 Equinox and there is absolutely no way this was a new upstream O2 sensor. The package arrived with the upstream O2 sensor loosely packaged in a generic GM box. There was anti seize on the threads with a damaged metal gasket (probably from an attempted previous install). There was a piece of human hair lodged in the wire harness (swear to God). I did not even take the time to attempt to install this because reaching the upstream O2 sensor on my vehicle is a pain. This item said it was sold by Amazon but I simply do not believe it because I cannot remember the last time I had an issue with something that came from an Amazon warehouse. If they are sourcing this from elsewhere then they need to have a talk to them because pawning off refurbished equipment as new for cars is a very bad look. I will just go to a car parts store to get a decent one that can be inspected and pay the premium.

GM Genuine Parts 213-4537 Heated Oxygen Sensor for $40 in march 2021. Upstream o2 sensor fits 2013 equinox 2.4L. Recommend doing both upstream (behind manifold) and downstream (by the cat) at same time. Real pain to get off, lube it up and use a good o2 sensor remover with tight fit as to not strip the bolt.Rockauto is cheaper ($35) but then shipping and not as fast as amz 1 day. Support Bezos and his washington post vs local guy. If you're reading this then prob just going with what's easiest for you haha.
