I should have assumed that, since the disk folds into smaller size for transportation, that that the fabric wouldn't be as sturdy. But, the grandchildren still love it. May opt for a non-foldable large disc next time.

As a parent always looking for ways to get my kids active and away from screens, I can't recommend the giant frisbee enough. This thing has brought so much fun and excitement to our outdoor playtime, I had to share our experience. When we first got the giant frisbee, I was blown away by its size and design. This disc is a massive 27 inches in diameter with a cool center hole that makes it stand out. Despite its size, it’s super lightweight and easy for even my younger kids to handle. Plus, it folds up nicely, which is great for taking it to the park or the beach.Learning the RopesOur first few throws were, let’s just say, a bit rough. The kids were excited, but the disc kept wobbling and hitting the ground. It was a bit frustrating at first, but we didn’t give up. We checked out the tips in the manual, which were really helpful. Spin: The key to a good throw is getting the disc to spin. We figured out that flicking our wrists sharply as we released the disc helped a lot. At first, my youngest struggled with this, but with a bit of practice, they got it. Angle: Releasing the disc level is crucial. We practiced by standing in front of each other and tossing the disc back and forth, focusing on keeping it flat. This made a huge difference. Power: Finding the right amount of force was tricky. Too much and the disc would veer off, too little and it would just drop. We played around with different levels of force until we found what worked best.Getting the Hang of ItAfter a few days of practice, we saw a huge improvement. The kids could now throw the disc long distances, and it was flying smoothly and steadily. The center hole design really helps it stay in the air longer. Watching the disc soar across the park was incredibly satisfying. One of the best things about the giant frisbee is how it brings everyone together. We’ve used it at the beach, by the pool, and even just outside our house. It’s perfect for kids of all ages, and even the adults had a blast with it. Start Slow: If you’re new to flying discs, don’t get discouraged if your first throws aren’t perfect. It takes a bit of practice to get the hang of it. Use the Tips: Follow the manual’s advice on spin, angle, and power. These tips are spot-on and make a big difference. Be Patient: Learning to control the disc and make it float in the air takes time, but it’s worth it. Play in Open Spaces: The disc can fly far, so it’s best to play in a large open area like a park or beach to avoid losing it or hitting anything. This giant frisbee has been a fantastic addition to our outdoor activities. It’s fun, engaging, and great for physical activity. Whether you’re looking for a way to bond with your kids or just a fun game for a group of friends, this flying disc is a perfect choice.

Disc did not light up. Though directions indicated it would when button was pressed, there was no button. Graphics on disc seemed to be glow in the dark, which is not what I paid for nor what was in the sellers description.
