These are great clamps. I have two of these now, one I use for clamping a laptop stand and another for a mic stand - to a small speaker stand - which also has a drum module attached. It previously worked a treat on a Roland drum rack ( but I can’t stand the look of racks and they have their own issues - when compared to using proper cymbal stands).These clamps allow pretty much any angle, which is important if you wish to mount things vertically, as drum rack clamps are always horizontal.

This is a very nice and sturdy clamp. The price on these rack clamps has become kind of ridiculous though.

Los accesorios de Gibraltar siempre son una garantía de calidad y éste clamp no es la excepción. Gran diseño y mejor utilidad, además de que es una pieza muy sólida.Lo único que consideraría incómodo es que para ajustar el ángulo de inclinación en la extensión giratoria se debe abrir dicha extensión para poder meter la llave de batería, lo que significa que si ya tienes un atril colocado, tienes que quitarlo para realizar el ajuste.Por lo demás es un clamp muy útil.

I wanted to add a set of Goto Toms to my Gibraltar rack. They are pretty heavy but this clamp hold them tight! Now the Santana songs have a better groove!

These are absolutely the best Clamps around. So versatile. I am "flying" 4 cymbals and Chinas off my 48" drum rack uprights at all sorts of angles. Don't even bother getting fixed right angle versions, as you never know what slight adjustment you might want to make at some point in the future. Just get these!

These are great multi clamps, one of my all-time favorite configurations by Gibraltar. Great versatility for angles and placement and very stable. Make sure you secure the drum key screw well. You can't go wrong with these, I've used them for years and they still polish up nicely too.

I was originally going to buy the SC-GCRMC, chrome Series Multi Clamp but I decided to pay the extra $5 for the multi-angle option this offers. The multi-angle option is not easily accessed, however, as the bolt which must be loosened is INSIDE the clamp which attaches to your boom arm/tom mount. For example, if I wanted to rotate my tom 10 degrees to the right, I cannot simply adjust the lug, turn, and tighten. Instead, I would need to remove the tom arm, then loosen the lug, rotate the clamp, tighten it, replace the tom arm, and see if it's in the right position.This works fine if you're going to set up once and forget it, but I play shows regularly and sometimes I need to fine tune my angles if my rack is on a small riser or tucked into a corner. I'd hoped this would provide a solution but it doesn't help me at all. Aside from that, it has the typical Gibraltar/DW craftsmanship, and once you lock it into place with a SC-GCHML memory lock it's not going anywhere. For that I'm giving it 5 stars, since it does exactly what is advertised, but I recommend saving the $5 and getting the standard model.

I own two chrome Gibraltar racks, and I have to say that they are the most aesthetically pleasing racks I have ever used. I have a large kit, so racks have often been a necessity, but I have always been bothered by the stark black clamps and fittings getting in the way of my beautiful drum finishes. With the all-chrome racks, the hardware fits in much like the engine parts on a custom painted Harley. As to this clamp, I buy these instead of the regular, non-adjustable type, because you never know when you might need that last bit of adjustability. Here on Amazon they are usually the same price, or a buck or two more. Get these-they are rock solid and give you even more options.
