Most ball caps are geared towards boys or men, so to find a hat and that is specifically for girls to hold ponytails is a huge win in my book! The cap was quite wrinkled when I got it. Bad became less so after wearing. My daughter is 7 years old and it fit her head perfectly. The whole to hold a ponytail was perfectly placed. Can't wait to use this on field day.

I love the idea of the crisscrossed back so that you can wear a ponytail at your preferred height rather than only a low pony or your hair down. So this gets top marks for having that innovation.The color is a beautiful bright (but not neon) purple. The cat is a multipart embroidered patch. The patch seems high quality with no loose threads and is applied securely. I expect this decoration will hold up. I'm certain that the little girl that receives this for her birthday will be thrilled.
