My absolute favorite snack is popcorn. Movie theater popcorn with extra butter and popcorn salt is my favorite. I also like different flavored popcorn as well. I usually pop it on top of the stove. That takes time and you really have to watch it closely. Microwave bagged popcorn is good, but I always have to doctor it up and there aren't many different options. There are a few bagged popcorn options I like also. However, nothing is better than freshly popped popcorn.My only hesitation in getting one of these sooner, is that they don't make a lot of popcorn. One round makes roughly 4 cups. I can eat almost the whole large popcorn at the movie theater by myself. 🤣 The instructions say to pop one batch for 3 minutes. In our microwave, 2 minutes and 26 seconds was perfect. On average, I found doing 3 to 4 batches is right for us. If the kids want some, then we double that. It actually works out, because my husband doesn't like as much butter and salt as the rest of us do, so we pop his first. As we go through the batches, we do adjust the amount of butter, as there is residue. Also, if we do more than 5 batches, we do have to wash it so the residual butter doesn't stick. Most people will not face this issue.For each batch I use the lid and fill it up twice with kernels. I then sprinkle some seasoning on the kernels. Then, I put the lid on and put the butter on the lid. As the popcorn pops the butter melts and evenly distributes the butter. Rinse and repeat. Do be careful when removing the lid, because there is quite a bit of steam.The result: very few kernels are left. It works well and the popcorn is delicious. It's very easy to use and easy to customize how you like your popcorn.We usually quickly wash it when we are done and run it through the dishwasher to get it extra clean.If you enjoy popcorn, then this is a must have.

The lid is not silicone. It is made of hard plastic.

We threw it away worked terrible half the kernels didn't pop. Got different popcorn the same thing happened.

I used to have one of these glass microwave popcorn poppers until I dropped in on our tile floor. So, I got this replacement from Cookqueen. This is a little smaller than my previous one, but still gives enough for a snack for me.It looks and works like what is described in the listing. I filled the cap twice and microwaved for just over 2 minutes and had the thing nearly full with only a few unpopped kernels.It does get really steamy inside so you have to be careful removing the lid. Also the unpopped kernels tend to stick to the popped ones do you have to be careful while eating.This works like the one I used to have. I'm happy with it.
