This rotor has very strong magnets.It's a monolithic piece of magnetized material, but there are indeed 8 poles.Sturdy construction and works with the GY6 stuff as you'd expect.Just has some tool marks and looks a little 'unfinished' in some places..

I didn't weigh this flywheel to see if it weighed the same number of grams as the cracked factory one that it replaced, but the two appeared identical, and it was a perfect fit--as much as anything can be a perfect fit on a 50cc Chinese scooter. Good price, fast shipping--recommended, if you need this part.
