Color is way off from any Ford color but hey the truck i did the install in is 22 years old and a tow rig so it may be faded. The complaints about it rubbing in places is likely due to people that didn’t take the extra five minutes to decide the push clips are junk.In the end I used four 6-32 stainless nuts and screws it’s tight to the pillar and not touching the dash. (Not shown in above photo because within 30 minutes of that photo I was on the road to go camping).Once fully installed it took about three more minutes to drill a through hole in the original pillar so the wires can safely feed through with no chaffing.Also If you think past the tip of the thing in your pants you can still remove the pillar with this in place if needed.

I went into this knowing the color was not going to match, after all it is a 20 year old truck, and yes, the color is off. At the bottom there is a cut out notch to fit the a pillar. As you can see in the photos, it contacts and sits on the dash well before you can push it all the way down to fit properly in the corner. If you push really hard , so hard that it pushes my plastic 20 year old dash down, it will fit. I'm not going to do that, and let this gauge pod wear a hole or cause my dash to break. The pod needs to be molded like a half inch higher for this to fit properly at all.
