The life of this electric reel battery is impressive. It is well made and can handle a day out on the boat with no problems, in fact you’ll still have a good amount of charge left. It isn’t the lightest thing in the world, but that’s to be expected with a battery with this kind of power. The protective case makes it easy to use and since you can wear it, you’re not tethered to one spot, which is awesome. It comes with the charger, case and strap as well as the cables to get it set up and working. I love that it has an easy-to-read display, it shows you how much battery power you have left. The light is a nice bonus but not something I will use often, I have other lights I can use. I am truly impressed with the battery life though and I think this is an awesome upgrade.

My fishing reel can be used, and I no longer need to use multiple batteries for different devices, which saves a lot of trouble. The battery life is also good. It can be used for a long time on a single charge, which can fully meet my needs for sea fishing for a day, and I don’t have to worry about running out of power halfway. The 1.5-meter power cord that comes with the charger is of a suitable length, which is convenient to plug in and charge quickly. It can be fully charged in about two or three hours. The battery itself is designed to be very light, and it doesn’t feel bulky when installed on the fishing reel. It is very easy to operate. And its waterproof performance is also good, so you don’t have to worry about occasional splashes of water. The battery power display is a bit simple, with only one indicator light, and you can’t accurately know how much power is left, which is a bit inconvenient. In addition, the plug of the charger is a bit loose, and you need to adjust the position after plugging it in to ensure stable charging.

A lot of folks might not know this, but the first patent for a battery-powered electric fishing reel was given in 1940 to an Italian automobile designer named Ettore Bugatti. Yes, that Bugatti. Unfortunately, his design was never brought to market because of World War 2. But it's interesting to know that, were it not for a change in the course of human history, we might otherwise know Bugatti today not for their world-conquering super-cars, but for their world-class electric fishing reels. While you may not be able to use this to power your non-existent Bugatti fishing reel, it will certainly power any other brand, such as Daiwa and the like. And it will do so literally all day long. I've found, on average, that you'll use about 10,000mAh worth of battery power a day, so this delivering 20,000mAh (or, simply, 20AH) should be good for an entire weekend of average use. If you have a particularly good day Saturday, though, it may need to be charged for Sunday. But generally speaking, you should have a little more than half battery left after a day of fishing with this.Nobody will argue that hauling a 100+lb fish from 400+ feet down is a difficult task. It still has its challenges, even WITH an electric reel. But doing it with an electric reel vs by hand is like, the difference between a motorcycle and a bicycle. It's that much easier. And this is a huge part of that arsenal of tools. It has a shoulder strap and bag, which is pretty nice, but you might find it better in a backpack if you can keep the clamps securely in place. It has a display which is very simple, having only a battery bar graph and a segmented display showing percent remaining or voltage. Everything it needs and nothing it doesn't. No apps, no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, just a battery and display. The charger is also very simple to operate and is has reasonable output, but this is a big battery, so make sure you give it enough time to charge.Power is great, and this has a lot of it. If you have an electric fishing reel, this is a fantastic way to power it all weekend long. 5 stars. Happy fishing.

I recently received the GN20F 14.8V 20Ah Electric Reel Battery through the Vine Program and wanted to share my initial impressions. This battery is designed to be compatible with a wide range of electric fishing reels, specifically mentioning Daiwa Tanacom, Seaborg, Leobritz, as well as Shimano Plays, BeastMaster, and ForceMaster series.Right out of the box, the large capacity is immediately apparent. The claim that it can last for 1-2 days of fishing seems very plausible, and for someone like me who hates worrying about battery life on the water, this is a huge plus.Beyond the capacity, the built-in protection circuits are a significant selling point. Knowing that it includes charging, discharging, power, short circuit, and temperature protection gives me confidence in its safety and longevity. It's reassuring to have that level of security when dealing with electronics around water. The wide compatibility across various manufacturers and reel models is also a major benefit. It eliminates the guesswork and ensures that this battery can be used with a variety of setups. And now, the big question: are there any drawbacks? Honestly, after my initial inspection and considering the features offered, I can't find any significant downfalls to this battery. In conclusion: My first impressions of the GN20F battery are overwhelmingly positive. The large capacity, comprehensive protection circuits, and broad compatibility make it a compelling option for anyone looking to power their electric fishing reel. I'm excited to put it to the test on the water, but based on what I've seen so far, I'm confident it will deliver excellent performance and reliability.
