This is for the size 6, 13-15 year olds. He has a palm circumference of 7.5 inches and wrist to tip of middle finger length of 7 inches. This size 6 glove is a snug fit. A larger size would be the correct fit. Sellers should list actual measurements in order to help customers pick the right size. The padding on the palm is a good thickness. The padding on the back of the hand and back of fingers is sufficient for protection. The mesh material everywhere else looks also to be of good quality. This glove does not have finger saves. The design and color combination makes this a good looking glove.

These pair of gloves are nice overall. They have a great design and enough padding. The yellow and red color is very bright, which is nice because is easy to spot them from anywhere on the field. They are not top quality, but for the price, is a good value for your money.

If you're looking for high quality gloves, you better skip these. However, you'll end up paying a lot more as well. If you're looking for gloves for a first time goalie in a rec league, then these will work. The grip is decent and the black material is a mesh, so it will help keeps their hands from sweating as much. The wrist has a wrap around velcro to keep them tight. They are on the small side, so I would consider ordering a size up unless your child has small hands or wants a tight fit.

My daughter loves these gloves - super tacky for grip on the ball, and comfortable to wear for a full game. It is about middle of the road for padding versus the ones we've touched at a sporting goods retailer. Her only complaint was how tight the un-velcroed wrist opening was, which made it really tough for her to put on her second gloves by herself without my help. The gloves have held up great for a few outings so far - stitching seems sturdy, and quality is fine (at least for her level of play... 9-10 year olds).

The good:Multiple color options and broad range of sizes. The almost good: Padding is minimal but should sufficient protection for younger players. More of a catching aid than protection. The not so good:Fingers feel a little short for a 15 year old’s hands. I’d recommend getting at least one size bigger than you think you would need. And I am assuming this was just bad luck, but the gloves I received were so smashed together that they ripped when I pulled them apart. See (pics).

Cheap beginner's glove. Very thin and does not have much protection. Elastic around the wrist is good and stretchy allowing to get the glove on easier. Good option for the child who wants to try being a goalkeeper and the parent who doesn't want to spend too much money.

As stated in the headline, these gloves run small but otherwise nicely made and should last for a full season. They are decent enough for practice or lower level competition matches, especially for new keepers. The cost is really good for a set of practice gloves.
