This is a pretty compact 800Ws power strobe. High power strobes like these are vital for weddings, events, and other shoots that require lots of light. Know your requirements, and you'll be set. This is definitely beginner-friendly, however you need to have the knowledge of how much power you'll really be needing, otherwise it's simply a waste of money.Godox did a great job at creating this studio flash. I recommend it to both beginners and professionals.

This is a fine 5600K studio flash with plenty of power and good ergonomics. The controls are easy to use and the handle has the ability, with the press of its button, to be placed in a position that suits me best. A welcome feature. Another feature I like is the 30 watt LED modeling lamp. The flash is compatible (built in) with Godox X transmitters for triggering, but doesn't provide TTL. As you would expect, a Bowens mount is standard. A long power cord without a brick provides more ease of use and a fair amount of range. All the features and specs are available on Amazon's Godox DP800III-V page. Without doubt, it's a very good flash deserving a 4 star rating. I've been very pleased with it and recommend it without reservation.
