All the reviews claiming that the grid doesn't come off of the snoot is hilarious. I just received mine now, opened the box, removed the snoot and simply twisted off the end of the snoot (it simply detaches by design) and I lightly tapped the grid out. I can put it back in whenever I please. It's a great snoot but I would have loved to have the opening be a bit smaller but it still works for me.

Great product if you like to play around with light on a photoshoot like I do. Wish it came with gels but it's a great product.

It could do with square pegs for the bowels mount instead of round ones, that would make it more stable in the mount. But apart from that it’s a good snoot

Snoots are pretty basic so there’s not much to say there. It works great and attaches easily. I thought the grid was permanently in there at first, just like all the other comments. But I literally just tapped it with the corner of my phone twice and it popped right out. I can put it back in easily when I need to.

My initial thoughts, the build is nice for the price. It's made of aluminum. Fits a Bowens mount. Yes you can use it with an AD200 but you need the S-Style bracket. For the cons- The honeycomb grid on the end of the snoot is PERMANENTLY ATTACHED. This is unusable for me to light a background, only works for back or possibly side lighting. You do see the grid patterns on the light on the photo you take so if that bothers you, you will need to find a way to remove the grid which I will do, possibly a Dremel tool.

Well, let’s air out the elephantine the room, that grid on the front is on there. I couldn’t get mine off, and I’m pretty sure they didn’t want me to. I did see in a picture no grid attached, but be warned I couldn’t get mine off. The next issue I have is with the mount itself... it’s rounded pegs. I didn’t even need to press the release button to take it off... it just comes off if you so please because of it. I tried it on a few different lights and got the same results. So be forewarned. Reality is... it works though. It’s a snoot With a grid, and if that’s what you need I can’t say don’t get it as it’s a good snoot with a grid.
