In order to extend the battery life of WB400P, Godox has updated the protection program. If the battery is not used for more than 1 month, it will enter the dormant protection state. You need to activate the battery before use. Press the button next to the power indicator several times to activate the battery.

I purchased the Godox AD400PRo and an additional battery. Both Batteries died in less than 3 months. There are countless reviews all over the internet on this issue. I'm in a pickle now that I'm invested and had to buy another one but I plan to sell this off as soon as my season is over. Buyer beware.

This is the third time I tried to write and review and keeps get suppressed. This battery was supposed to be brand new but would not charge out the box and looks like it has been used already. I wouldn't recommend buy from this company. UPDATE: the battery they sent to replace the non working battery is not working now. Ive only used it maybe 3 times. These folks are scammers, buy for manufacturers, not from here

The first battery I purchased from this seller did not take a charge, so I returned it and requested a replacement. The second one arrived and also didn't take a charge. I ultimately returned the battery for a full refund.
