The Anderson style connector seems totally fine. The covers are ok. I’m not super impressed especially for something that will live outdoors on a vehicle. I have a strong feeling that the cover will not last super long. Just on installation one corner of the hinge portion broke. May be partially my fault I used sealant and tightened it down real good behind the unit as it does not come with a rubber waterproof washer. If I use another (and this is a suggestion for any of you doing this.) use extra sealant and just hand tighten till flush be very careful not to over tighten. I’m giving this four stars because I don’t think this should’ve happened on a quality build, but I also think it could be avoided with some care. And again, the plug has been great.
