I think if you use gold foil, you better experiment well in advance. I was in a hurry to get a project done, with NO experience with foils...it doesn't seem to work that way. Plus it doesn't come with the tacky stuff to stick it down. Using regular glue works, but you better keep your fingers dry and clean - or you will turn to gold yourself!

I used this product to fill in some cracks on a glass pot that I own. It turned out great! The sheets are very easy to work with and there are so many in the package, if you make a mistake, plenty more to use. I will be using these again on some future crafting projects.

I wanted gold leaf to add a little pizazz to my bedroom door. I just used some basic Elmer's glue and a craft paint brush for the adhesive, let it get tacky, and then applied the gold leaf. I would HIGHLY recommend using fabric gloves if you can, as the leaf will stick to your fingers. It is also insanely light, so it can blow around in the slightest of AC streams. But the result is exactly what I wanted and I had some left over!
