There are tons of medals for purchase online. This one is a QUALITY product on both sides, and it is "heavy" as it is intended to be. I gave this to my physician following a very successful surgery. Just a token of my appreciation for him, and I'm sure he was pleased with this special acknowledgment. He has pinned it to the bulletin board in his office!

This is quite nice. The medal is big and heavy though perhaps more bronzy than gold. One star off since the ribbon could be a bit more clothy; it might lay a little bit better. A cold water soak might take the starch out but it might bleed. It's a good buy.
