Perfect sound for my '89 Alvarez Silver Belle. I completely rebuilt her a few days ago and couldn't get the harmonics right above my 1st string until I installed this Golden Gate compensated bridge. Now my harmonics and and overall tone are perfect.

The first bridge i received was broke in half , but no problem amazon replaced itin a couple days ..I tried this bridge on my Gibson rb-250 but i actually thought my oldbridge sounded better so i put the old one back on .For just 10 bucks though what the heck give it a try maybe it will makes YOURS sound better

I have a cheap "RW Jameson Banjo" with sound issues. Something wasn't quite right to my ears; the 4th string sounded dull. Also, when I bar the frets and go down the neck, it sounded dull. After installing this new bridge, I heard a better improvement overall. The 4th string improved, but the other strings (1,2,3) improved even better. More punch and brighter. I suspect the original bridge was a softer wood or something. It didn't resonate like this GoldenGate bridge. I'm happy I bought this item.

アーチトップを特注でフラットヘッドにしたので、ネックの角度が上に起きています。5/8だと柔らかいところで弾くときに弦の高さがヘッドから高くなり、私の弾き方だとサムピックの端が弦を引っかけてしまうことがありました。1/2した結果、それが解消されて、演奏中に引っかかることがなくなりました。

This is a superb little compensated bridge and a good value compared to some others. It completely solved my intonation issues when playing up the neck, and particularly, 3rd string distortion and being out of tune.

Amazing that such a small and inexpensive purchase can make such a huge difference. I was happy with my banjo before, but now it rings out and is intonated properly and is generally just much better. If you have a standard straight cut bridge then I recommend you swap it out for this.

Very easy to install and insures proper intonation all the way up the neck of the banjo! Very reasonably priced and well worth it if you can't stand dealing with intonation issues of standard banjo bridges.
