I feel happy i finally have a key to open the trunk on my 2000 camry. Only issue i have is the oem cylinder is longer compared to this one. It leaves a gap between the tail lamp and key hole. Im not sure if it will rust out my trunk lid later on from allowing water in when it rains or get a car wash

Exact fit and works perfectly. This lock cylinder proved to be easier to install than I thought.I installed this replacement lock cylinder many months ago and zero issues with it.

the keys with lock and lock are slimmer than Toyota lock, could not get usuable duplicate key... because standard key blank is too wide(thick). LOCK DOES FUNCTION PROPERLY, but only have 2 functioning keys. After market lock is smaller than Toyota lock
