Those not paying careful attention will be surprised when they receive mixed materials.Only the square tiles are glass.The smaller cubes and stars are acrylic (plastic).The glass tiles are backed with paper for some reason. After reading the product description, I thought perhaps the paper peeled away to reveal some adhesive, but it doesn't seem to peel. The paper impedes light from going all the way through the tile, so that might be a reason to keep looking for different tiles.The plastic stars are actually beads. There's a small channel through each of them.The tiny plastic cubes are not beads. They're just tiny plastic cubes, and I'm not sure what anyone would do with them.I'm also not sure why the company would combine small glass tiles, plastic star beads, and tiny plastic cubes into a single product. Few projects are going to incorporate all three, because you'll treat glass differently than plastic. These materials have different properties. I think it'd make more sense to sell just the glass tiles, and just the acrylic products--separately.

The tiles are tiny, but they are the exact size as advertised. I put in a penny in the photo for perspective. The larger glass square tiles are lovely and very pretty shades of purple. But the stars and small cubes are plastic, not glass. The stars are a cute sparkly plastic, but the cubes are a rather flat color. Definitely not glass.
