Built 5 bypass test leads.for automotive diagnostics and they are so well made. Saved me hundreds comparing buying one bypass wire from Aeswave at $35 each that use pvc coated wire which is not good including there test leads from uTest kit which are also pvc coated wires.. I have used these to build automotive test light sets. They are really nice to work with and are very low ohms. If you need to build tedt lights, test leads, or bypass wires buy these it will save you hundreds plus you can use high quality silicon wire. I used up to.16 gauge.silicon with them. I wish other connectors where like these.

I bought the solder type connectors, but they heated the wire up too much and were hard to make. I tinned my wire with solder and these worked flawlessly.

When installing the wire screw. Too loose and the wire falls out and too tight the screw breaks and can't remove after that. Not very good quality.

I really like these and used them to make up test jumpers and test lights. Having these makes it quick and easy to swap around and use various test leads when troubleshooting. I use them when troubleshooting electrical problems on cars, atv, lawnmowers and other things.

These are well made, had all parts in bags, and go together solidly. But for my use connecting to bench lab equipment, these connectors are not usable. 5 way binding posts require exposed banana connectors or you must remove the binding post threaded nut. Most of the 5 way binding posts have non-removable threaded nuts, so these are useless. A better design would have a removable banana plug shield.
