Great pump. Lots of power; plenty of discharge options and is a great value for the money. I love the option to use it either 'always on' or to turn on at a certain level based upon the float position.

Very pleased with this pump. Keep in mind it leaves about 2 inches of water that you have to bail or remove some other way.

Used this pump to quickly drain a large hot tub. Very quiet operation.

This works as advertised. Used it to drain a pool in order to do some work on it. The auto shutoff was nice so I didn't have to watch it too closely.

This thing really pumps some water! It works well, and isn’t too noisy either.I put the 3/4” hose end on it, put it in my pond, and plugged it in to see what kind of power it had. That thing shot water probably 20’ up in the air!Overall, I’m happy with it for the money I paid.

I'm using this to drain a hot tub. This thing works fantastic! Drains it in under an hour! Probably could do it in 15 minutes if I had a bigger larger garden hose!

Edit: I gave this 1 star a couple months ago. After talking with customer service, who was very helpful, I need to update. Everything I posted below is accurate. So if you're looking for one that will take the water off only 1 1/2"-2" water, this one is NOT for you. Customer service sent me a different one that works much better for it. However, in terms of this working in deep water, then yes, it deserves 4-5 stars. After put in 5" of water, it worked just like it should. It sucked up the water, shot it down the long hose, and into the pump. It's not easy for the ground though. The water has to first shoot upwards, and the hose is very flat and kinks. So then you have to be there to work out the kinks. My guess this works best when put in a pool, barrel, or something that needs to shoot straight up and out, not something that has to shoot up and immediately bend back down. Hard to explain, but figured it was only fair to show all sides.Just bought this when basement flooded last week. Woke up to another flooded basement and thought perfect timing. I set this up and for the past HOUR I've been trying to get it to work. It turns out but pumps out nothing. I've tested it in both higher and lower levels of water. I've tried finding youtube videos to explain how it works in case I'm doing something wrong, but all they do is basically toss it into the water and watch it go. The manual is horrible, showing more pics of what not to do as opposed to what we should do. Again, leading me to believe, I should be able to just plug it in and it'll work. Will be returning with the extra hose I bought. I've tried googling instructions, help, and even tried contacting the company to find out what is wrong but can't even find that. I suppose good for those who it works for, but if it doesn't, you've now not only got to deal with your flooded basement but having to pack it all back up and returning it.
