We just received the netting a couple weeks ago for our backyard water feature and it is outstanding. We had been using the standard 1/2" netting to minimize leaves getting into the water, and this product is so much better. Since I have not used it for very long I cannot comment on its actual durability, but the thicker plastic suggests that it will be much more durable than the standard netting which rips really easily when either stretching it over the pond or taking it off in the spring. It is more expensive, but you get what you pay for.We have now had the product on our pond for several months, and it is perfect. It does an outstanding job of preventing leaves from getting into the pond, unlike the standard 1/2" netting. Easily a 5 star rating.
