When I purchased this product, I was expecting a 2.1/2" knockout for any 2 1/2 TA (terminal adapter) for electrical work. This product is exactly 2 1/2". A 2 1/2" knockout should cut a hole about 2 3/4" for any size TA weather it be for rigid metal, EMT, and/or PVC conduit. I will stick with my supplier for now on with any tools from Amazon.
